Pestat is based in beautiful Canberra, the capital city of Australia, situated in the Australian Capital Territory. Canberra hosts the headquarters of many national regulatory and science agencies, and is conveniently situated in a prime agricultural landscape midway between Australia's two largest cities.
Pestat was established by the Pest Animal Control Cooperative Research Centre (PAC CRC) in 1999. Pestat is now is a member of The Invasive Animals Co-operative Research Centre.
A five member Board of Directors guides Pestat's corporate development and operations. Board members are:
